This document provides a Functional Safety Process Assessment Model (PAM) for the automotive industry supporting the implementation of ISO 26262:2018 (parts 1 to 9), which addresses possible hazards caused by malfunctioning behaviour of electrical and/or electronic (E/E) safety-related systems in road vehicles.
The Functional Safety Process Assessment Model incorporates material from Automotive SPICE® Process Assessment Model Version 3.1. A subset of the processes is extended, and new processes added, to incorporate the requirements and recommended practices from ISO 26262.
