This standard specifies the requirements for the design, construction and maintenance of the track of urban rail. This standard specifies general technical characteristics, the principles for design, construction/manufacture, operation and maintenance, and general safety requirements. However, it does not specify detailed requirements for operation and maintenance, nor does it specify calculations and detailed requirements for the design of components. This standard also contains requirements for occupational safety and health protection of employees without prejudice to the application of state regulations.
